Dnata-PWC Airport Logistics LLC (DPAL)
Dnata-PWC Airport Logistics LLC provides cargo transport services for both local and international customers, including Emirates Sky Cargo, British Airways and Singapore Airlines.
The joint venture between Dnata and Public Warehousing Corporation Kuwait specialises in road haulage, with both heavy and light trucks that are designed for air cargo.
DPAL transports goods in bonded vehicles between airports, ports and free zones throughout the UAE. In addition, it operates an import and export service between the UAE and GCC countries - Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and Oman - as well as Lebanon and Jordan.
Using a sophisticated tracking system, it can monitor vehicles and their contents en route to their destinations. The other services DPAL offers include cargo loading, unloading and packaging, and general warehousing management.
Dnata and PWC (which now trades as Agility) both committed assets to the venture, including expertise, manpower, IT systems, equipment and vehicles. And while the company has focused its operations in the GCC, it plans to expand throughout and beyond the Middle East.
DPAL’s major clients also include: Lufthansa Cargo, Cathay Pacific, Air France, Cargolux, Great Wall Airlines, KLM, Fedex, Qatar Airways, Delta Airlines, Martin Air, DHL Worldwide Express, Midex Airlines, Swiss Airlines, Kuwait Airways, Etihad Airways and Qantas.
