Alpha Flight Services is a leading onboard catering operator and has been supplying all Emirates airline flights departing Australia since 2008.
Emirates Group has a 49 per cent interest in the company, which provides in-flight catering at nine airports in Australia, including all major international gateways, serving 16 customer airlines with over seven million meals a year.
With chefs skilled in different cuisines from around the world, it provides first, business and economy class meals, tailored to the tastes to the passengers travelling on the route, as well as all types of special meals, including Halal dishes.
This investment represents Emirates’ second joint venture operation for in-flight catering services. Its first, Emirates Flight Catering in Dubai, is based at one of the largest in-flight catering facilities in the world which has the capacity to make 115,000 meals per day.
Alpha Flight Services Pty Ltd (Australia) is joint venture with Alpha Flight Services, which is a subsidiary of Autogrill, Italy’s leading food & beverage retailer.
