Global Distribution Systems (GDS) are a key line of business and EmQuest works with Sabre Holdings to manage the distribution, sales, service and support of Sabre GDS in the UAE, as well as five African markets, including South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.
Prior to this, EmQuest was known as Galileo Emirates and distributed products in the UAE, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bahrain, Oman and Qatar.
With the emergence of smaller local travel suppliers, such as hotel apartments and car rental companies, EmQuest invested in Regional Distribution Systems (RDS), which allowed it to extend its market reach and improve its services.
RDS solutions include a modern airline reservation system, which enables budget and mid-sized airlines to host and distribute inventory, and an e-marketplace portal for hosting and trading regional travel content.
In addition, EmQuest offers Value-add Systems, a range of tailor-made products and services that can be used for back, mid and front-office operations, as well as innovative ticketing solutions.
