Emirates Group Security receives highest recognition for excellence with the Dubai Quality Gold Award
Dubai, UAE, 16 November 2020 – Emirates Group Security (EGS) has received the prestigious Dubai Quality Gold Award (DQA), the city’s top accolade for excellence, cementing its position as a role model organisation that meets and exceeds world-class standards across its business areas, systems and practices.
Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the Dubai Quality Gold Award was presented during the 26th annual Business Excellence Awards hosted by Dubai’s Department of Economic Development (DED).
Led by a panel of industry experts specialized in niche sectors, recipient organisations of the Dubai Quality Gold Award (DQA) undergo a rigorous assessment of its leadership, strategy, people, partnerships, operations and processes, against the Excellence Framework by the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM).
Expert assessors concluded that Emirates Group Security demonstrated continuous improvement as a way of corporate life, and this is reflected in its quantifiable outstanding results and market leadership in promoting the principles of excellence among its customers, suppliers, and business partners.
Dr Abdulla Al Hashimi, Divisional Senior Vice President of Emirates Group Security, said: “Continuous improvement is the foundation upon which our company is built. We embarked on this journey of excellence when we established our Quality, Compliance and Excellence department 16 years ago, and today’s award is a culmination of years of hard work and dedication of EGS employees.
