His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Education, visited the Emirates Group's interactive stand on day one of the fair as part of the official opening delegation and was given a tour by Manal Al Soori, Emirates' Senior Vice President, Human Resources Group Recruitment, showcasing the Emirates Group's self-service career portal as well as available vacancies and programmes. The Group's stand was also visited by His Excellency Sultan Al Neyadi, Minister of Youth and the first Arab to serve on the International Space Station. His Excellency Sultan Al Neyadi and Manal Al Soori discussed the emerging and unique roles offered by the organisation for graduates.

Hundreds of national service cadets, graduates, and young professionals visited the Emirates Group's stand throughout the three days of its participation to explore the various opportunities available, including the National Cadet Pilot Programme, Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License (AMEL) Scholarship Programme, National Graduate Training Programme, Graduate Outstation Programme, as well as roles across finance, human resources, and information technology.

Through its presence at various career fairs, the Emirates Group aims to attract ambitious and enthusiastic Emirati talent as part of its ongoing recruitment drive to support its growing business requirements and expand its global operations. The Emirates Group’s recurring participation in the National Service Career Fair also solidifies its unwavering commitment to the UAE’s Emiratisation agenda, demonstrated by the inclusion of UAE Nationals from all academic stages in a range of positions across travel and tourism. Programmes that received the highest volume of applications at Ru’ya include the Graduate Training Programme and the National Cadet Pilot Programme.

Offering an interactive experience for the audience, the Emirates Group’s stand integrated an engaging aviation-related game that saw two winners receive free flight tickets to London with Emirates airline.

The Emirates Group’s Emiratisation team has been actively participating in various career fairs across the UAE, while running aggressive recruitment campaigns to place UAE talent in multiple business units across Emirates and dnata. Through Ru’ya Careers, the Group was able to connect with capable and ambitious UAE Nationals who are eager to start their professional journeys in travel and aviation, support the Emirates Group’s global operations and contribute to the UAE’s economic stability.  

From experienced professionals to graduates and university students, the Group will offer various career opportunities in travel and aviation for talented Emiratis through Ru’ya. Scholarship programmes open to university graduates include the National Cadet Pilot Programme, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License (AMEL) Programme and IT Scholarship Programme.

Open for high school graduates are roles across Airport Services, Contact Centre and Emirates cabin crew, as well as opportunities to enrol in the SkyCargo Acceleration Programme and dnata Maintenance Supervisor Programme. High School graduate candidates can also undertake on-site digital interviews at one of the four interview pods integrated within the Emirates Group’s creative stand.

The Group is also scouting talent for its bespoke Graduate and Outstation Programmes, and offering internship opportunities for undergraduates to get valuable exposure to the professional work environment that will propel them as they navigate their future.

The curated, high-impact programme is designed around Microsoft’s technology courses, including digital transformation and driving business impact with AI, as well as the development of soft and leadership skills. The shared vision is to educate and inspire these future leaders of the Emirates Group as well as to carve out a clear career roadmap based on their business and cultural transformation.

With over 120 hours of classroom workshops within a hybrid setting, the programme is underpinned by mentorship led by Microsoft’s leadership team in the UAE, as well as an opportunity for participants to meet and learn from senior leaders at Microsoft Headquarters in Redmond, USA.

The Emirates Group recently launched its UAE National Talent Acceleration Programme – which includes four key pillars – under its Emiratisation strategy Rehlaty. The Take-off Internship Programme offers selected students from top global universities internships for up to 12 months. An International Bachelor Scholarship Programme offers full academic scholarship to top-performing high school students at major universities in the UK and US. The Fly High Graduate Programme is for top local and global university graduates, while the Masters Scholarship Programme offers full-time scholarships to Group employees accepted into Masters Programmes at top universities.
