                        <guid>https://www.theemiratesgroup.com/media-centre/emirates-group-concludes-successful-national-service-career-fair-participation/</guid><pp:caseid>631918</pp:caseid><description><![CDATA[<p style="margin-left:0px;"><span style="margin:0px;padding:0px;"><strong>Dubai, UAE, 16 May 2024:</strong>&nbsp;The Emirates Group wrapped up its participation in the 2024 National Service Career Fair, having received&nbsp;nearly 1,500 applications from&nbsp;graduates across various career programmes.&nbsp;The Fair was held in Dubai at EXPO City from 13 - 15 May.</span></p><p style="margin-left:0px;"><span style="margin:0px;padding:0px;">His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Education, visited the Emirates Group's interactive stand on day one of the fair as part of the official opening delegation and was given a tour by Manal Al Soori, Emirates' Senior Vice President, Human Resources Group Recruitment, showcasing the Emirates Group's self-service career portal as well as available vacancies and programmes. The Group's stand was also visited by His Excellency Sultan Al Neyadi, Minister of Youth and the first Arab to serve on the International Space Station.&nbsp;His Excellency Sultan Al Neyadi and Manal Al Soori discussed the emerging and unique roles offered by the organisation for graduates.</span></p><p style="margin-left:0px;"><span style="margin:0px;padding:0px;">Hundreds of national service cadets, graduates,&nbsp;and young professionals&nbsp;visited the Emirates Group's stand throughout the three days of its participation to explore the various opportunities&nbsp;available,&nbsp;including the National Cadet Pilot Programme, Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License (AMEL) Scholarship Programme, National Graduate Training Programme, Graduate Outstation Programme, as well as roles across finance, human resources,&nbsp;and information technology.</span></p><p style="margin-left:0px;"><span style="margin:0px;padding:0px;">Through its presence at various career fairs, the Emirates Group aims to attract ambitious and enthusiastic Emirati talent as part of its ongoing recruitment drive to support its growing business requirements and expand its global operations. The Emirates Group’s recurring participation in the National Service Career Fair also solidifies its unwavering commitment to the UAE’s Emiratisation agenda,&nbsp;demonstrated by the&nbsp;inclusion of UAE Nationals from all academic stages in a range of positions across travel and tourism. The Group also conducted&nbsp;over 300&nbsp;on-site digital interviews for high school candidates, which helped to accelerate the hiring process and provide more flexibility for the applicants.&nbsp;<span>&nbsp;</span></p><p style="margin-left:0px;text-align:left;">Programmes that received the highest volume of applications at Ru’ya include&nbsp;the Graduate Training Programme and the National Cadet Pilot Programme.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;text-align:left;"><span>Offering an interactive experience for the audience, the Emirates Group’s stand integrated an engaging aviation-related game that saw two winners receive free flight tickets to London with Emirates airline.</span></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;text-align:left;"><span>The Emirates Group’s Emiratisation team has been actively participating in various career fairs across the UAE, while running aggressive recruitment campaigns to place UAE talent in multiple business&nbsp;</span>units<span>&nbsp;across Emirates and dnata. Scholarship programmes open to university graduates include the National Cadet Pilot Programme, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License (AMEL) Programme and IT Scholarship Programme.</p><p>Open for high school graduates are roles across Airport Services, Contact Centre and Emirates cabin crew, as well as opportunities to enrol in the SkyCargo Acceleration Programme and dnata Maintenance Supervisor Programme. High School graduate candidates can also undertake on-site digital interviews at one of the four interview pods integrated within the Emirates Group’s creative stand.</p><p>The Group is also scouting talent for its bespoke Graduate and Outstation Programmes, and offering internship opportunities for undergraduates to get valuable exposure to the professional work environment that will propel them as they navigate their future.</p><p>Actively participating in various career fairs across the UAE, the Emirates Group’s Emiratisation team aims to accelerate the hiring process of national talent through impactful conversations with the local community, and offering inspiration as well as deep insight into job market trends.
