The Emirates Group shines at 2025 National Service Career Fair
Dubai, UAE, 15 May 2025 – The Emirates Group wrapped up another impressive showing at the National Service Career Fair in its 8th edition, receiving more than 1500 applications over the event’s three-day run from 12–14 May at the Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC), Expo City Dubai.
As part of the official delegation tour on the opening day, Major General Staff Pilot Ishaq Saleh Mohammed Al Balushi, Assistant Chief of Staff for Joint Capabilities at the UAE Ministry of Defence, visited the Emirates Group’s stand and was briefed on the diverse range of opportunities on offer.
The Emirates Group also received His Excellency Dr. Sultan Al Neyadi , Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Brigadier Hamad Khalifa Al Neyadi , Chief of the National Service and Reserve Authority (NSRA) at its stand, where they discussed the Group's ongoing efforts to attract national service graduates into the aviation sector.
National service cadets, graduates, and aspiring professionals engaged with the Group’s Emirati representatives and professionals to learn more about career and development pathways. These include the National Cadet Pilot Programme, Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License (AMEL) Scholarship Programme, National Scholarship Programme, IT Scholarship Programme, as well as various roles across the Group’s diverse business units under the Khatwaty Programme.
The Emirates Group’s consistent participation in nationwide career fairs reflects its commitment to the UAE’s Emiratisation strategy, as it continues to attract and nurture Emirati talent to support its ambitious growth plans and evolving business requirements. By connecting with Emirati youth, the Emirates Group aims to inspire the next generation to build meaningful careers in travel and aviation, two key sectors that drive the UAE’s economic prosperity.
